See which YouTube videos Claude recommends

Type a question your buyers ask and see, live, which YouTube videos Claude recommends when it searches the web.

Which question do your buyers ask Claude?

We ask it live and show the YouTube videos Claude points to.

We ask Claude live. It takes about 20 seconds.

How to use the Claude video checker

  1. Write the question the way a buyer would ask it. Not a keyword, a full question: “what is the best CRM for a 5-person sales team?” rather than “CRM software”.
  2. Run the check. We ask Claude live and collect every YouTube video in its answer and its sources. It takes about 20 seconds.
  3. Read the list. Videos cited in the answer come first: these are the videos Claude users actually see.

How Claude picks YouTube videos

Claude searches the web when a question needs fresh information and cites the pages it uses. It is popular with technical and B2B buyers, who often ask it to compare tools or explain how to set something up.

Across AI engines, YouTube is cited far more than any other video platform, and the cited videos are rarely from big brands. They come from whoever explained the topic clearly first, which is why a B2B company with a small channel can show up next to much bigger competitors.

What to do with the results

  • A competitor’s video is cited: the subject is worth a video. Watch it, note what it misses, and make the clearer, more specific version.
  • A video is found but not cited: it is close. A sharper title and a direct answer in the first lines of the description often make the difference.
  • No video at all: nobody owns the question yet. Publish first.
  • Your own video is cited: keep it up to date and link to it from your site and docs.

Check the other AI engines

Each engine picks its sources differently, so a video cited by Claude may be missing elsewhere. Run the same question on the other checkers below, or let RankTube ask all your buyer questions to ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google every week and tell you which video to publish next.

FAQ

Questions about this free tool

How does the Claude video checker work?

We send your question to Claude live, with web search on, and read every YouTube link in its answer and its sources. Then we fetch each video’s title, channel and views so you can see exactly what Claude recommends.

Does Claude always search the web?

Only when the question needs it. When we ask for the best YouTube videos on a topic, Claude searches, so the recommendations come from the live web rather than its training data.

What is the difference between “cited” and “found in search”?

A cited video is linked in the answer itself: that is what the user sees. A video found in search was read by Claude but not shown in the answer. Both tell you who competes for the question.

Why do the results change over time?

AI answers move as new content is published and engines update. We keep a result for 7 days so the same question gives the same answer for a while, then we ask again.

No video was recommended. Is that bad?

It is the best case for you. Nobody owns the question on YouTube yet, so the first clear video that answers it has a real chance to become the one Claude recommends.

How many questions can I check for free?

3 questions a day without an account, 10 when you are logged in. RankTube checks all your buyer questions on every AI engine each week.
